Petra Medical College (PMC) seeks to provide excellent and professional online entry level certificate training for those wanting to enter allied health professions. We are committed to the satisfaction of those who enroll in our courses and programs, as well as those who sponsor our students financially. PMC's staff is ready to answer any questions or concerns about our classes, programs, systems, and procedures.

By creating a user account; purchasing a course or being sponsored; using our website to view class videos, notes, take tests; obtain certificates of completion or transcripts or other reports, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

• I understand that falsified information submitted to PMC can result in the denial of my enrollment, and/or the revocation of my certification of completion or academic record.
• System Requirements: PMC’s platform is compatible with all modern web browsers and either Apple or PC/Android systems. The learning portal may be accessed via desktop computer, laptop, Chromebook, tablet, and mobile devices.
• PMC reserves the right to withhold enrollment, certificates of completion, or academic records for courses if payment is not received in full.
• The content of PMC's videos, study guides or notes, tests/exams (hereafter referred to as "content") is copyrighted and the sole property of Petra Medical College. I agree not to disclose, publish, copy, reproduce, transmit, store, or distribute this content, either in part or in whole, by any means or for any purpose. I understand that the unauthorized disclosure, publication, copying, reproduction, transmission, dissemination, or possession of PMC's content is a crime which may result in my civil liability and/or criminal prosecution.
• PMC's exam results are automatically scored via Computer Based Testing (CBT) system. Students have the right to appeal their academic grades: I understand students who receive a non passing score have the ability to appeal their test results; Appeals must be submitted in writing within 14 days of grade notification; and that appeals must include the student name, date of testing, and description of the reason for appeal. I understand it is my responsibility to send appeal requests directly to Registrar@PetraMedicalCollege.com and that the Appeals Review Committee will respond within 15 days of submission. The committee will review and determine the outcome within 30 days.
• Petra Medical College does not guarantee one’s employment or employability; it is my own responsibility to seek and procure employment and to determine my employer's, potential employer's, or State's requirements for employment prior to enrollment. PMC’s programs provide the academic knowledge and understanding of procedures and/or skills to prepare one for an entry level position, but I understand that upon employment I may require further on the job training to become proficient in some skills.
• I agree to abide by Petra Medical College's published Code of Conduct & Academic Honesty; and I understand that ethical or professional violation of these standards may result in an internal review and adjudication process culminating in the revocation of my certificate of completion.
• Code of Conduct & Academic Honesty: We at PMC believe in treating everyone with respect, fairness and dignity. Students whose conduct is unbecoming of professional standards or engaging in academic dishonesty, disruptive behavior, abusive or demeaning communication will be subject to academic probation or dismissal.
• I agree that I will not hold Petra Medical College, or any of its representatives, responsible for any action or negligence in providing any person or animal with any medical or non-medical services or attention.
• I agree that I will not hold Petra Medical College, or any of its representatives, liable for any injury or loss of life to any person or animal that may have resulted from my allied health practices pertaining or not pertaining to my PMC course training or completion.
• If I am being sponsored by an entity (whether a school, foundation, State agency, potential employer) I agree to the release of my PMC academic and financial records to such sponsors.
• If any part of these terms are waived at any time, that does not waive the right to enforce that provision (or any other provision) later. Any waiver must be in writing. Except for a written waiver, all terms of this Agreement remain in full force and effect.
• Application Policy: There's an open-door policy when applying to PMC. Prospective students need not submit ACT, SAT, or GED scores; a high school graduation certificate is not required to enroll.
• Statement of Non-Discrimination: At Petra Medical College educational opportunities and performance decisions are made on the basis of merit and without discrimination to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. Prospective students should be aware that some courses offered by PMC lead to employment in fields where certain physical abilities are essential.
• Code of Conduct & Academic Honesty: We at PMC believe in treating everyone with respect, fairness and dignity. Students whose conduct is unbecoming of professional standards or engaging in academic dishonesty, disruptive behavior, abusive or demeaning communication will be subject to academic probation or dismissal.
• Transfer Credit Policies: Petra Medical College does not accept transfer credit at this time. Our curriculum is designed for an allied health care context, in order to prepare you for real-life work as a medical professional.
• Holidays: Our online platform remains accessible during holidays. However, administrative and instructor support may be limited during recognized school holidays.
• Special Accommodations: Students with a documented learning disability may request special accommodations, including no timer during timed assessments.
• Grading System: Courses are marked as “in progress” until all requirements are met. Upon completion, students will be marked as “pass” or “fail” based on their performance.
• Digital Certificates of Completion: Upon successful completion of a program, students have immediate access to their Certificate of Completion in pdf format. Please note that we do not provide physical or mailed certificates.
• Official Transcript Services: PMC provides official, digital transcripts via email free of charge. This service can be found directly within the “Transcripts” tab of your student account. Students or alumni needing assistance with registration, transcripts, or any academic records can get in touch via Registrar@PetraMedicalCollege.com.

In addition to the terms and conditions above, students and users who create or who access a Partner account (or "Partner Portal" screens on the site) also agree to the following:

• I understand that PMC maintains the sole right to dictate access to, sell, benefit from, or monetize in any way, any and all products, goods, or services that are found on this site— including the functionality of, and access to, the online partner portal itself. I agree not to engage in or attempt any resale or upselling activities; I understand this is a crime which may result in my civil liability and/or criminal prosecution.
• I understand and agree that the design and functionality of the partner portal constitutes "Confidential Information" and is the "Intellectual Property" of Petra Medical College and that PMC maintains proprietary rights to this portal and all its systems, including those related to exam registration, invoicing, and reporting, as inherent to PMC's production processes and business operations. I agree not to disclose, distribute, publish, copy, reproduce, transmit, store, or reverse-engineer, either in part or in whole, the systems, design, processes, procedures, or computer code or computer technology found on PMC's website by any means or for any purpose.
• I agree to hold PMC harmless and in no way liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, or incidental special consequential damages whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of any of PMCs products or services, including access to and use of the Partner Portal (website) itself. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of PMC’s proprietary course content, refunds are strictly limited. A student may request a refund within seven (7) calendar days of purchase, provided the student has completed no more than the first session and has not started the second session. Once the second session has been started, or once seven (7) calendar days have passed, the student is no longer eligible for a refund.

Before purchasing a course or program, students are responsible for reviewing and confirming all state-specific licensing, certification, registration, examination eligibility, clinical training, and employment requirements that may apply in the state where they intend to work. When a refund is requested or approved because a student did not review, misunderstood, or failed to verify applicable state requirements before making the purchase, the refund will be reduced by the actual payment-processing fees charged to PMC for the original transaction, to the extent those fees are not returned to PMC by its payment processor. These processing fees are nonrefundable and will not be reimbursed to the student.

Scope of Refund: Any refund issued by PMC is limited to the eligible tuition or course fees actually paid to PMC, less any permitted nonrefundable payment-processing fees. Even when a refund is approved, PMC does not reimburse or compensate students for time spent accessing course materials, watching instructional videos, studying, completing coursework, taking assessments, or otherwise participating in a course or program. PMC is also not responsible for lost wages, lost employment opportunities, opportunity costs, or other incidental or consequential expenses or losses associated with a student’s enrollment, participation, or decision to withdraw.

The deduction of payment-processing fees and the limitations described above will not apply to the extent reimbursement or compensation is required by applicable law. Payment-processing fees will also not be deducted when a refund results from a billing error or material error by PMC.

What Information Do We Collect?

When you create an account, purchase an enrollment for a course, or contact us you will be asked to enter personal information. When you fill out a form on our site, we receive information such as your name, birth date, and email address. Upon purchase, our site does not store any debit or credit card information. We may request additional information from Partner Users who wish to create a partner account—including the name of your organization, your title, and billing details.

What Do We Use Your Information For?

We may use your personal information for the following purposes: to help us complete the online ordering process, to verify the identity of users taking online courses, to communicate information regarding purchase receipts, sponsorship, exam scores, academic records, or how to download documentation such as certificates of completion or official transcripts. PMC also provides free, official digital transcript services—delivered to any email address you indicate. If you choose to use this service, you indicate your permission for PMC to share your academic record with the recipients you indicate.

You Have the Ability to Opt Out

PMC may send you periodic emails with updates and information that relates to maintaining your academic & financial records, along with company news, and other information. If you would like to unsubscribe at any time from receiving emails from PMC, you may do so with the unsubscribe link that is on the bottom of every email that goes out from our site (with the sole exception of system messages such as, for instance, password reset requests).

How Do We Protect Your Information?

Your information is protected by the most secure and trustworthy technology available. We protect your information with encryption technology—all data that is submitted from a link that begins with "https" is encrypted using SSL before transmission. No PMC administrator has the ability to view your account password, as your password is not stored in any PMC system— instead our site employs the Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP) method of user authentication.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

PMC complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), ensuring students' rights concerning their educational records. This includes the right to access and review records, request amendments if they believe records are inaccurate, and control the disclosure of information.
